About The Position

Elevate the art of gifting at Bering’s. Bering’s is seeking a polished, detail-obsessed Seasonal Visual Merchandiser – Gift Shop to shape the in-store experience across both store locations. In this full-time seasonal role, you will bring our curated assortments to life through thoughtful presentation, seasonal storytelling, and brand-consistent displays, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Documented prior experience in visual merchandising is required.
• Minimum 1 year in retail merchandising or a customer-facing retail role, preferably in gift, home décor, apparel, or specialty retail.
• Proven ability to translate product stories into sophisticated, sales-driven displays.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across two locations.
• Confident communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Reliable, professional presence and scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain elevated merchandise presentations that reflect Bering’s brand and enhance the customer experience.
• Create cohesive display flows that invite discovery, highlight key stories, and support sales objectives.
• Refresh displays in alignment with new arrivals, seasonal transitions, promotions, and store events.
• Ensure all products are floor-ready, impeccably presented, and maintained to a high visual standard.
• Partner with buyers, store leadership, and sales teams to align visual merchandising with product strategy and inventory priorities.
• Support storewide events, vendor pop-ups, and promotional floor sets, including staging for marketing content and social media as needed.
