About The Position
Vineyard Veterinary Clinic is a thriving small animal and exotics practice located in Edgartown, MA. We are seeking a veterinarian to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis for the summer. We offer a diverse caseload including dogs, cats, and exotics (small mammals, birds, reptiles), with opportunities for urgent care and walk-in cases. We provide strong mentorship for new graduates and have a skilled support staff trained in advanced tasks. Our modern facility is equipped with digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, cautery, and a full in-house lab. We pride ourselves on practicing high-quality, science-based medicine with a Fear-Free approach. Life on Martha’s Vineyard offers a special lifestyle with beautiful beaches, sailing, and hiking trails.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one)
Nice To Haves
- DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry (mentorship available for new grads)
- Comfortable with or interested in learning exotic pet medicine (training and mentorship available)
