About The Position
Millennium Power Services is looking for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Seasonal Valve Technician based out of Westfield, MA. If you enjoy hands-on work, traveling, learning valuable industrial skills, and working alongside experienced technicians in the field, this is an excellent opportunity to break into a high-demand industry. In this role, you’ll work directly with experienced Valve Technicians supporting the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial valves at customer facilities across a variety of industries. You’ll gain real-world field experience, develop technical skills, and work in environments that most people never get the opportunity to see. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position — every week brings something different. You’ll travel to customer sites, work with a skilled team, and build experience that can open doors to long-term opportunities within the industrial and power services industry.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using hand tools and working in industrial environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
- Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to travel and stay out of town during assignments
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
Nice To Haves
- Previous industrial, mechanical, automotive, construction, or military experience is a plus — but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist Valve Technicians with valve inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation
- Support field service projects at customer facilities throughout the region
- Learn to work with industrial valves, tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Assist with shop work and field assignments
- Follow strict safety and quality standards
- Work closely with experienced technicians and gain hands-on training in the trade
