About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) supports store operations and sales by keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with a focus on operational performance, people, and processes. Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures are required. The associate helps ensure product is available for purchase and operational processes are completed on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures. They contribute to an inclusive environment, participate in ongoing training, follow company policies and standards, and help maintain store presentation and cleanliness. The position requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays, as well as continuous mobility and frequent physical activity during shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
Proficiency with basic technology, such as a point-of-sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including continuous mobility and coordination; frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting; and lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 lbs. continuously and/or frequently during a shift.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing assigned tasks and ensuring product is available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
