About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate supports Ulta Beauty’s operational excellence and sales by keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with a focus on operational performance, people, and processes. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.

The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational tasks—including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and other store processes—are completed accurately and on time. The role also involves maintaining store standards, supporting an inclusive environment, participating in ongoing training, protecting company assets, and providing exceptional guest service.

This seasonal position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and coordination throughout the store, frequent standing and bending, and lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Perform other operational tasks as directed.
