About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence in support of store sales and guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. The associate contributes through operational performance, support for teammates and guests, and compliance with established processes and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are required. The position involves executing shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, inventory counts and procedures, resets, planograms, and marketing displays. Associates maintain assigned areas by replenishing, signing, and facing merchandise and ensuring testers are available. They also help maintain store standards and cleanliness, follow loss-prevention practices, and provide exceptional guest service. The schedule is flexible and may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

Proficient with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet task-dashboard compliance and execution goals and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
