About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate supports Ulta Beauty’s operational excellence and sales drivers by keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with a focus on operational performance, guests and teammates, and adherence to processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are required. The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational tasks are completed on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures. They contribute to an inclusive environment, participate in ongoing training, and follow company policies, standards, and dress code. Using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices, they complete resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing while maintaining assigned areas and overall store cleanliness. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and object handling, frequent standing and other movement, and lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by ensuring assigned tasks are completed as planned and products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
