About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) delivers operational excellence in support of sales and an exceptional guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks. The associate supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, peers and guests, and compliance with processes and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures are required. The associate completes shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, inventory counts, resets, planograms, and marketing displays. They maintain assigned areas by replenishing, signing, and facing merchandise and ensuring testers are available. They also uphold store standards and cleanliness, follow policies and loss-prevention practices, participate in training, and provide exceptional guest service.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned tasks as planned to help meet or exceed store retail goals and ensure product is available for purchase.
Meet task dashboard compliance and execution goals and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
