About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) supports Ulta Beauty’s operational excellence and sales drivers by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, teammates and guests, and compliance with processes and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures are important. The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational work is completed on time, including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures. They maintain assigned areas and store standards, carry out merchandising and inventory tasks using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices, and follow company policies, dress code, and loss-prevention practices. The position also involves ongoing training and contributing to an inclusive environment for teammates and guests. This role requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves frequent movement throughout the store, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, handling objects, and lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds during a shift.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
Proficiency with basic technology, such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds during a shift.

Responsibilities

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Perform other operational tasks as directed.
