About The Position

We are seeking dependable and motivated Seasonal Support Associates to join our University Mail Center team during our busiest time of the year. This role is responsible for supporting daily mail operations by receiving, sorting, organizing, and distributing mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Must be authorized to in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous mailroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare mail for delivery to campus departments and student mailboxes.
  • Scan and log packages using mail tracking software.
  • Assist with package pickup and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure mail is handled accurately and securely.
  • Assist with outbound mail processing and shipping as needed.
  • Follow all university and company policies regarding mail handling, confidentiality, and safety.
  • Support other mail center operations as assigned.
