About The Position

Join WK Kellogg Co this summer as a Seasonal Student Support Employee to add flavor to your career. In this role, you will help prepare world-class products for shipment in our WK Kellogg Co, Omaha, NE Plant. You will collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives as you share in our values and culture. Requirements

  • Completed or soon to graduate with a High School Diploma or GED and possess an acceptance letter from a college or university OR currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution will be attending in the Fall of 2026. Student status is defined as 6 credit hours a semester.
  • 18 years of age at the time of hire (As of May 11, 2026)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, all shifts, including weekends and holidays and full-time hours (all shifts) as of May 11, 2026, and be able to work full time through the summer
  • Ability to work a rotational schedule with availability seven (7) days a week up to 12-hour days
  • Able to spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items weighing approximately 20–25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished products in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures, taking particular care in high-quality packing of finished goods.
  • Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines, ensuring they are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products.
  • Ensure machines remain stocked and working at full capacity, performing periodic checks while inspecting products and packaging.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production, using all the right safety precautions.
  • Cleaning in designated areas throughout the plant such as the roof, packing, processing, warehouse, and sanitation area.
