About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although part-time and full-time positions generally focus on merchandising, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. The role may include fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. Delivery may be an essential job function when added to the role. Seasonal employment is short term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal position.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, repeatedly bend down, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours per day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services to provide exceptional, personalized service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and traffic and safety laws.
