About The Position
SolarShoppers is hiring seasonal sales and marketing representatives to connect local homeowners with our solar and battery team. This is a part-time opportunity for the holiday season that utilizes people skills. The role involves starting conversations, staying connected on social media, and helping people find useful information. It is a sales and outreach position, not a retail checkout or warehouse role. SolarShoppers has served Palmdale and Lancaster for over 13 years and is looking for personable, dependable people to support their holiday-season outreach. No technical background in solar is needed; the role focuses on building interest, making introductions, and connecting interested homeowners with the experienced team.
Requirements
- Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or community outreach.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of the local community.
- Dependable part-time availability during the seasonal assignment.
- Responsiveness, trustworthiness, and comfort talking with people.

Responsibilities
- Start warm conversations by reaching out to people you know and asking for introductions to homeowners interested in exploring solar and battery options.
- Share helpful content using company-approved social posts and real customer stories to generate interest.
- Follow up thoughtfully by responding to questions and messages, helping arrange consultations, and keeping interested homeowners connected with the team.
- Keep opportunities organized by recording contacts and follow-up activity.
