About The Position

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Installer to support the responsibilities of Insomniac’s Visual Communications team. This position reports to the Project Manager. This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate enjoys dance music, excels at building exciting and unforgettable displays, and embodies both a passion for dance culture as well as creating memorable experiences.

Requirements

• OSHA 10 is required
• Comfortability with power tools and working with 8 foot ladders
• Being a team player, possess a positive attitude, able to learn quickly and take direction
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb
• Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.

Nice To Haves

• Heavy machinery certification is a plus but not required. Staff must have a copy of their card (digital or physical) when operating.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for frame construction, signage installation, temporary power and lighting setup, and fence scrim installation at festival sites.
• Reports to Team Lead
• Works with urgency and precision
