About The Position

We are seeking Service Champions to live our purpose of: Sharing our Passion for People and Spirits at our new Kistilano Wine Cellar location! JAK's is a family-owned business with 10 liquor store locations. We know our success comes from the people who make us, us and we are committed to fostering a culture of caring, learning, hospitality, integrity and FUN!

Requirements

• Polished customer service skills
• Interest in our products, specifically wine or craft beer, but also cider and spirits
• Enjoy helping others and building relationships with our guests
• Retail or customer service experience
• Desire to continually learn new things
• Can lift 50lbs safely
• Evening and weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, providing food pairing suggestions where appropriate
• Receive orders, unload pallets and stock the sales floor
• Educate guests about the product and what’s behind each bottle
• Maintain overall presentation of the store
• Process orders at the till, ensuring that each guest has an excellent in-store experience
• Complete warehouse duties (stocking shelves, stacking pallets, reorganizing the warehouse area, etc.)
