About The Position

Seasonal Catering and Banquet Server needed for events and weddings. This is a part-time position that ends in late December/early January. The role involves providing friendly and professional service, serving food, clearing tables, refilling beverages, setting up and taking down event spaces, anticipating guest needs, and supporting team members. The ideal candidate will represent and uphold Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values, and Policies.

Requirements

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to receive direction, feedback, and input positively.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
Food Handler Permit, which may be obtained after hire.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and professional service at catered events and weddings.
Serve food and clear/buss tables during and following events.
Refill beverages and assist guests with drink needs as needed.
Set up, arrange, and take down event and venue spaces.
Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs to create a positive experience.
Support team members and vendors by contributing to a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Represent and uphold Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values, and Policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
