About The Position

This is a seasonal, non-exempt hourly position. The Scale Clerk is a clerical role involved in the daily tasks of the office, including weighing trucks, grading grain, operating a PLC program, data entry, answering the phone, and filing. This position will provide excellent customer service by displaying a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

• Commitment to ADM as goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, prolonged periods of using a telephone, bending, kneeling, lift storage boxes
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting
• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
• Computer skills are a must
• ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

• previous experience with data entry using Microsoft Word & Excel is preferred
• Previous experience with office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.

• Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
