About The Position

As a Seasonal Sales Associate, internally referred to as a Service Team Member, you help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service and driving sales. You engage with customers, advise them on products, and may also be assigned merchandising, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. You report to the store management team. This is a short-term seasonal position lasting no longer than six months. Seasonal team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The role may include delivery duties if delivery is added as an essential job function.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of work experience; 1 or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide personalized service, and advise them about products and services.
Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies, procedures, traffic laws, and safety laws.
