About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance during company-designated seasonal periods. It is a temporary position intended to support increased business during high-volume times of the year.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

• Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store and approach the front end.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and assist with selling products.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Maintain a neat and organized front-end work area.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
