About The Position
Palmetto Moon is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate to join their team at the Tanger Nashville location. This role is ideal for someone looking to earn extra holiday spending money in a fun, high-energy environment with flexible scheduling and an employee discount. The primary responsibility is to connect with and take care of the customer. Palmetto Moon is a growing retailer focused on the Southern lifestyle, known for its customer service and wide selection of apparel, accessories, home goods, and gifts, including popular brands like Vineyard Vines, YETI, and Chubbies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply
- Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers
- Dependable and flexible with scheduled shifts
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Detail oriented
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop and stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and selling skills
- Knowledgeable about all brands and sharing that knowledge with customers
- Works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives
- Replenishes sales floor as needed, maximizing customer shopability
- Maintains visibility on the selling floor, enhancing the service experience
- Knows and properly executes Point of Sale procedures to ensure a quick transaction
- Effectively handles multiple customers
- Communicates effectively with associates and management
- Packages customer merchandise with care
- Minimizes shortage through floor presence and relentless customer service
