The stylist will act as a trusted advisor, offering expertise to help clients choose products that fit their aesthetic and lifestyle. This person will work with the client to discover and express their personal style while showing them how to integrate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe.

Requirements

  • Professional sales skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of social media and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Proficiency in English (or local language depending on the market).
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs, occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business — including evenings, weekends, busy periods, and high-traffic store days (including, but not limited to, holidays).

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients warmly and with confidence, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
  • Actively listen and ask pertinent questions to fully understand the client's needs.
  • Offer styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks.
  • Demonstrate creativity in presenting different ways to wear products and encourage clients to explore new styles.
  • Guide clients in their purchasing decisions and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
  • Value and celebrate clients' choices, while inviting them to return.
  • Generate results through strong client relationships and effective storytelling.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product features across all categories.
  • Maintain operational excellence, including back-of-house organization and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
