Seasonal Row Crop Operations
About The Position
This position involves working with the Farm Manager and other Row Crop Team members during the fall harvest season. Essential job functions and responsibilities include assisting in coordinating various operations and tasks to ensure fall harvest is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Job specifics will be adjusted to the employee's skill level, with responsibilities ranging from running grain carts to assisting with bin site operations. The role also includes coordinating and completing 'special' projects as needed for the Row Crop Manager and other Summit Agricultural Group management. Work times and hours are dependent on weather and harvesting conditions and can be flexible as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to operate large machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to adjust to changing conditions.
- Ability to drive a vehicle for a prolonged period of time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in production agriculture.
- Valid, unrestricted Class A CDL.
