Logan Health Whitefish is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Birth Center team on night shift! Our Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25-bed critical access hospital in scenic Whitefish, MT. Offering 5 LDRP rooms and a strong focus on quality and evidence-based care, our department is the perfect environment to let your skills shine. Whitefish sits in the heart of the Flathead Valley, which offers an endless array of outdoor recreation, skiing, hiking, and biking trails, whitewater rafting, and the breathtaking Glacier National Park. If you love living the outdoor lifestyle on your days off, this is the place for you! This role offers the opportunity to provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- Two years experience in a similar unit is required.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
- ALS(ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
- NRP certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire/transfer
- EFM certification or EFM instructor status must be obtained within six (6) months of hire/transfer.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
- STABLE preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience
- Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care
