About The Position

Squishable is seeking an energetic, experienced Seasonal Store Manager to lead the Westfield Topanga store through the holiday rush. The role oversees the store’s day-to-day operations throughout the holiday season and is accountable for the team, sales performance, customer experience, and store standards. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep the store and team running smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience for customers.

The seasonal role runs from November 2026 through early January 2027. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The salary range is $70,500–$73,000, with bonus potential. Squishable offers an employee discount and notes that some seasonal team members continue into ongoing roles.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to quickly engage, motivate, and organize a seasonal team.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and the ability to balance multiple priorities during busy periods.
• A hands-on, team-oriented approach and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with POS systems and basic retail technology.
• Ability to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the store team throughout the busy holiday season.
• Hire, onboard, and quickly prepare seasonal team members to deliver a great Squishable experience.
• Drive sales and execute holiday promotions and priorities in partnership with the Regional Manager.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory, timely replenishment, and strong merchandise presentation during high-volume periods.
• Create a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience, including during the busiest shopping days.
• Maintain company policies, operational standards, and a safe, organized store environment.
• Step in wherever needed to support the team and keep the store running smoothly.
