About The Position

Holiday Oil is a premier convenience store in Utah, a family-owned business with over 60 years of history, 77+ stores, and a commitment to growth. We are seeking a friendly and reliable Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, operate the cash register, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems
Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers
Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus
Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively
Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services
Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations
Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment
Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday
Availability to open and close the store as needed
Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers
Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle payments
Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise
Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps
Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
Follow safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
