About The Position

At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Seasonal Retail Sales Associate helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by assisting athletes in finding apparel for performance and everyday life. The role provides customer service and merchandise expertise while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive store environment. The position is seasonal. The targeted pay range is $16.00–$23.00 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors including location, experience, and position offered, and will meet or exceed the applicable local minimum wage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Do not use AI tools during interviews or assessments.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and provide helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including Federal ATF requirements.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
