Seasonal Retail Receiving Support Associate - Overnight, Woodlands Mall
About The Position
As an Overnight Receiving Colleague (also known as an Overnight Back of House Colleague), you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly. You’ll work as part of a team to manage the flow of merchandise - making sure products are received, processed, and ready for the sales floor quickly and efficiently. You’ll also help maintain the organization and cleanliness of both the stockroom and the store, ensuring everything is in its place and ready for customers. You'll also play a key part in customer interactions - greeting shoppers warmly, resolving issues, and delivering orders curbside with care. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact both customer satisfaction and overall store performance.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Meeting daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities.
- Can work on your own but are great with team dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of merchandise, ensuring products are received, processed, and ready for the sales floor quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of both the stockroom and the store.
- Greet shoppers warmly, resolve issues, and deliver orders curbside with care.
- Review priorities and get up to speed on incoming merchandise at the start of each shift.
- Focus on efficiently processing product so everything is ready and available for the sales floor by morning.
- Ensure the stockroom is organized, merchandise is processed and ready for the floor, and all tasks are completed with care and attention to detail.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration.
- Strive to improve every day, take pride in work, achieve sales goals and learn from each other to deliver individual and store results.
