This position is responsible for ensuring that customer bagged ice needs are met and maximizing equipment productivity at assigned locations. The role involves establishing ongoing relationships with store management, ensuring satisfaction with the Packaged Ice Program, and managing inventory. The merchandiser will also be responsible for invoicing/crediting bags, maintaining bag inventory levels, and adhering to store policies. A key aspect of the role is maximizing ice production by back stocking and rotating stock, maintaining a well-merchandised display case, and completing machine logs accurately. The position also includes servicing Ice Factory machines according to a schedule, cleaning and sanitizing machine components, and reporting any major machine issues. Regular attendance at company-sponsored training and contribution to discussions on equipment maintenance and best practices are expected. Adherence to the Code of Business Ethics and maintaining high safety standards are essential.
