About The Position
Macy's is seeking a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague to create a warm and inviting experience in their fragrance department. This role involves maintaining a well-merchandised and stocked area, supporting the sales team, and assisting customers. Responsibilities include preparing products, restocking displays, and processing transactions. The position requires flexibility, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10-20 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
- Ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked fragrance department.
- Support the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor.
- Prepare products, restock displays, and assist with transactions.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up-to-date on trends and promotions.
- Engage, educate, and sell with confidence.
- Offer customers a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and select merchandise for return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing, and support any needed merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits with customers.
- Ensure customers have all they need and end interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration.
