About The Position
Portland Leather Goods is seeking a Seasonal Retail Associate for their Twin Cities Premium Outlets location. This is a part-time, seasonal position with projected employment dates from ASAP to September 2026. The company is described as the fastest growing, most beloved leather bag company, with a strong focus on customer obsession and providing a unique customer journey. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and creating a positive customer experience. This job is ideal for social individuals who enjoy working with leather products and helping people. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher
- Must be available to work weekends
- Customer service/retail experience required
- A team player is a must!
- Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Must reside in the same state as the assigned retail store location.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly, authentic, timely manner
- Create lasting relationships and fun memories with our customers
- Comprehensive understanding and upkeep with the store products
- Ensure the store is neat, organized, and well stocked for our customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of proper payment procedures
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and procedures
