About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals to support store sales and profit objectives while providing superior customer service. The role also takes on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The position includes promoting the Music & Arts lesson program, building customer relationships, and participating in store operations such as merchandising, displays, and maintenance. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
• Build business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
• Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Promote customer loyalty.
• Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
• Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
