About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Associate position at JCPenney is for individuals who enjoy serving customers and thrive in a dynamic environment with new products and trends. As a seasonal hire, you will have a defined employment period, and your manager will communicate your last day of employment as the peak season concludes. This role involves assisting customers on the sales floor and at the register, maintaining product presentation, replenishing stock, and participating in a learning environment by absorbing new information about merchandise and business processes.

Responsibilities

Assists customers: Seek out customers and do whatever you can to make their experience great from the sales floor to the register. Listen, help, and make them want to come back!
Adjusts to customer flow: Be on the move and available to provide assistance to customers or co-workers.
Maintains product presentation: Make adjustments to display the latest fashion and merchandise trends after the customer has explored products.
Replenish and restock the store: Understand customer needs and know where to get more merchandise when stock is low to ensure customers have the styles and sizes they need.
Participates in a learning environment: Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or business processes.
