About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Associate supports the store’s sales and profit objectives by achieving individual sales goals and providing superior customer service. The role also takes on senior-level store responsibilities, including promoting music lessons, building relationships with customers and community organizations, and participating in store operations. Music & Arts offers eligible musician employees gig leave to take time off to perform on tour and return to their jobs afterward. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Build business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including control of perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
