This is a seasonal role for multiple summers, requiring 40 hours per week. The position involves promoting and maintaining positive relations with customers and potential customers, operating a teller's window to serve customers by accepting deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and providing receipts. The role also includes identifying customers, cashing checks, referring customers for authorization when necessary, accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, and providing additional customer services such as Cashiers Checks and Personal Money Orders. Branch tellers will also sell/cash Travelers checks and Bonds. A key responsibility is demonstrating accuracy in balancing a daily cash drawer, accepting payments for all loans, and processing teller transactions including cash advances and TT&Ls. The role requires answering questions about transactions and products, verifying and posting night drop bags and bank-by-mail, and cross-selling other products and services. The Relationship Banker will enhance customer relationships by updating bank products and possessing an understanding of the bank's offerings. Additional duties include processing loose coin, rolling and verifying coin orders, balancing a coin counter or ATM as assigned, and reconciling cash and transactions daily within teller balancing guidelines. The role also involves assisting co-workers with routine problems and maintaining a neat and orderly work environment, ensuring negotiable and confidential records are secured.
