Requirements

18 years old or older
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
Obtain position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs clearances
Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Responsibilities

Processing baggage between baggage areas in airport facilities and aircraft
Receiving and dispatching aircraft
Loading and unloading aircraft and carts
Stacking and unstacking baggage in aircraft
Completing safety checklists for motorized equipment
Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belts)
Read and interpret aircraft load sheets and checked baggage tags
Escort passengers and customers with special-needs safely and courteously
Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies
