About The Position
Reddy Ice is a leading brand in ice production and manufacturing, known for its commitment to consistency, quality, and service. We are seeking a Seasonal Production Laborer to join our team. This full-time, permanent position involves bagging and stacking ice bags onto pallets, monitoring product quality, and ensuring adherence to company standards. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout 12-hour shift.
- Must be able to work in room with temperatures of 45 – 60 degrees.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Bag and/or stack ice bags on pallets.
- Stack a variety of products, ranging from 5 lb to 40 lb bags onto standard pallets.
- Monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, discolored ice and any deviation from standards.
