The Production team plays a crucial role in transforming raw agricultural products into a wide variety of items supplied to tables across the US, Mexico, and Canada.

Requirements

Above average skills in attendance
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent, preferred
Manual dexterity required for using hand tools and operating machinery
Lift up to 50 pounds required
Able to stand or walk for prolonged periods

Responsibilities

Clean, cut, inspect, package, and label commodities from the raw stage through final product.
Maintain a clean and contaminant-free worksite.
Perform sorting for defects and foreign material in raw or finished goods.
Trim stems and tops from produce using knives and machetes.
Distribute product evenly into dicers.
Rake beans, winter squash, zucchini, and asparagus onto the conveying system.
Unload peas into the hopper using mechanical hydraulic lifts.
Assemble totes, place liners in cardboard totes, and ensure produce is labeled correctly.
Stack 28-pound pails of puree.
Verify calibration of IQF scales.
Serve the needs of customers and all stakeholders.
Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies.
Inspect and remove all product that is not up to quality standards.
Remove all foreign objects.
Ensure all products are packaged correctly.
Ensure product is labeled correctly.
Follow SOP’s and safety standards.
Follow GMP rules and Federal and State regulations.
Able to lift 50lbs.
