About The Position

Merchandisers build and maintain produce displays to promote products, attract customers, and help the department meet sales and profit goals. Production Assistants prepare, package, and label products for display, remove expired or damaged products, and maintain proper rotation of perishable food items.

This is an entry-level seasonal hourly position. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. No prior experience is required. The role involves frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take product inventory to determine the quantity needed for displays.
• Remove expired or damaged products from displays.
• Maintain proper rotation of perishable food items.
• Ensure proper signage is posted and visible.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome and appreciated.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth store operations.
• Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
• Represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
