About The Position

Seasonal Preventive Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the daily maintenance of pools & spas in condominiums, hotels, and fitness centres. This includes ensuring chemical balance, vacuuming, skimming, maintaining pump baskets, and upkeep of mechanical rooms. Technicians will also be responsible for delivering chemicals, supplies, and equipment, enforcing Ontario Health Code regulations and community by-laws, completing detailed work orders, and participating in training courses. They will also assist with pool openings/closings, deliveries, office tasks, and other duties as assigned. A typical day involves driving company vehicles to multiple client sites, checking and maintaining pool safety equipment and mechanical rooms, testing and adjusting water chemistry, and communicating with clients and supervisors. The work is active and varied.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license (“G”)
  • Must have a clean driver’s abstract
  • Must be able to dispatch from our Burlington Head Office
  • Must have daily access to your own vehicle to get to our main office
  • Must work some weekends, statutory holidays, and Labour Day
  • Must be able to swim
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Canadian citizen or valid Work Visa & SIN
  • Organized, adaptable, dependable, detail-oriented
  • Team player who can work independently
  • Comfortable driving in Downtown Toronto/GTA traffic
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Able to work some weekends and holidays

Responsibilities
