About The Position

We are looking for 2 seasonal (Summer) porters in the Twin Cities, MN Metro Area. This is a non-benefits eligible position. The primary responsibilities of this role involve the upkeep of the property in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. This position’s primary duties will be to maintain the Doran standards, as it relates to site aesthetics. They will also assist the maintenance team, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner. This role is essential for maintaining our high level of customer service, as well as the cleanliness and marketability of the community. This position has responsibility for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking lots and other community buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and cleaning courtyards, golf greens, grill stations, pool/spas, parking lots, sidewalks, furniture, and carpet cleaning.
  • Small building projects, as directed by manager.
  • Watering, fertilizing, pruning landscaping
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and building are always properly cared for.
  • Performs routine maintenance on property, as directed by manager.
  • Completes minor and routine service requests.
  • Interact with/assist residents, guests, vendors encountered throughout day.
  • Clean outdoor pool and spa skimmers.
  • Unlock pool gates, if applicable.
  • Clean, straighten and set up outdoor furniture including, but not limited to: trash cans, tables, chairs, firepits, lounge chairs, umbrellas, annual planters, golf or bocce balls and clubs.
  • Clean grill stations inside and out; polish outside, clean granite countertops and sinks.
  • Verify all amenities are in working order; grills, lights, speakers, firepits, faucets etc.
  • Clean courtyards, entrances, pool areas, parking lots: Remove dead bugs and dirt from lighted areas, window ledges, chairs and other surfaces, remove debris from paving and artificial turf areas, clean food or pet stains off surfaces, pick up trash, clean and report dog leftovers to management, attend to potted plants; water, fertilize, trim, pest removal.
  • Grounds maintenance: Weed removal/spot weed spraying, plant pruning/trimming, irrigation monitoring/moisture level readings, dog spot patching, plant replacement, mowing, pest management, maintain dog areas, carpet cleaning, pool and irrigation shut down, outdoor furniture removal/cover, annual planting removal, fall leaf removal from courtyards.
  • Report resident issues to management; door mats, wreaths on doors, dog rule issues, bird feeders, etc.
  • Help with seasonal change
