About The Position

Safe operation of the vehicle Safe loading and unloading, observing Company, Federal, and State regulations Excellent relations with the customer including attention to personal appearance and demeanor Inspection of tractor and trailer at pre-trip and post-trip Secure all paperwork, products, and equipment Fueling of the unit, check liquid levels Comply with DOT regulations Coming to work on time and on a regular basis, and knowing when you are scheduled to work During the course of the day, report any problems or malfunctions in any terminal, vehicle, or while making a delivery Notify dispatcher of any problem while on a delivery, including any unsafe situation Fill out all paperwork legibly and completely and turn in at the end of shift Have a thorough knowledge product and equipment to suit customers’ needs Perform any other duties required by the Company and consistent with the job

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
  • Minimum one year trailer experience
  • Clean driving record. NO DRUG OR ALCOHOL VIOLATIONS
  • Must pass DOT physical, be in good health and able to perform functions of the job
  • Satisfy all DOT requirements
  • Must pass road test administered by designated Company personnel
  • Ability to read, write and perform simple math computations (addition & subtraction)
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Standing – Intermittent
  • Sitting – Frequent
  • Walking – Frequent
  • Lifting – Up to 150 pounds, waist level only, and with both hands
  • Carrying – No more than 75 pounds
  • Bending and squatting - Frequent
  • Pushing/Pulling – Intermittent, no more than 10 pounds
  • Grasping – Frequent
  • Driving – Frequent
  • Foot controls – Frequent, when driving
  • Climbing – Intermittent
