About The Position

A Seasonal Policy Intern assists full-time staff in various areas of environmental policy and planning, special projects, studies, research, data collection, entry and analysis, surveys, design outreaching and education materials and to monitor organized events and other related projects. A Seasonal Policy Intern must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other related computer applications and must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The Office of Management and Budget's Office of Regulatory Review is hiring a Seasonal Policy Intern. Preferred candidates hold experience/training in program evaluation and/or conducting supervised research (e.g., literature reviews, preparation of summarizing memoranda, quantitative analysis). Interest in regulatory policy, and/or experience with state and local government, a plus. All appointments to seasonal positions are of limited duration. The specific employment date of a seasonal position will be specified at the time of the appointment.
