We are seeking a current graduate student to join our Policy Solutions team this summer as a dedicated intern. This temporary intern position provides an opportunity for a detail-orientated, self-directed student to learn from some of the best talent in the community development field while contributing to the organizations strong social mission. This role will involve: • Gathering, compiling, cleaning, and analyzing data related to Reinvestment Fund research and consulting projects. These tasks may relate to housing policies, public investment activities and community development program delivery systems. This may include internet-based research and phone calls. • Using GIS software to plot data and prepare maps, for reports and other publications. • Preparing and summarizing research findings in memo formats and presenting findings as part of working team sessions. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant graduate degree program such as city planning, public policy, spatial analytics, or sociology. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and community development. The internship is designed to last up to 13 weeks, providing ample opportunity for skill development and practical experience, with the potential to extend into the fall and spring semesters part-time for the right candidate.
