About The Position

Everest Solutions and Images Ltd. is hiring energetic, creative, and friendly Seasonal Photographers to join our school photography team. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll interact with students, school staff, and families while capturing memorable moments. If you enjoy working with children and teens and love the idea of being in a new environment each day, we’d love to hear from you! The role involves capturing high-quality student portraits, creating a positive Picture Day experience, setting up and operating photography equipment at school locations, interacting with students and staff, working with team members, and safely transporting equipment. This is a seasonal position with a term length of 3 to up to 10 months, depending on business needs. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour, with a start date of August 30, 2026. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and passion for capturing meaningful student portraits and creating lasting memories
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with confidence interacting with students, staff, and families in a school environment
• Availability to work a varied seasonal schedule, primarily Monday to Friday, with early mornings and occasional extended days as needed
• Daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid Canadian driver’s license
• Ability to lift and operate provided camera equipment, up to 40 lbs.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age in accordance with applicable employment standards

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality student portraits while following established photography standards
• Create a positive, professional, and well-organized Picture Day experience
• Set up, operate, and pack down photography equipment at school locations
• Interact with students, school staff, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
• Work with team members to ensure Picture Day runs smoothly and on schedule
• Safely transport and care for photography equipment and materials
