About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a pea combine during the harvest season. The driver will work with the Farm Shop manager and harvest team to ensure equipment is prepared, cleaned, and serviced for production. The role requires operational knowledge of all equipment in the area and the ability to assist with repairs when necessary. The job is located in Waseca, Minnesota.

Requirements

• Must be familiar with Farm Shop safety rules and guidelines.
• Should be able to use mechanical and electrical tools and shop equipment.
• Should possess a mechanical aptitude in order to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant, both electrically and mechanically.

Responsibilities

• Work with Farm Shop manager and harvest team to implement changes.
• Work with other departments.
• Prepare equipment for production.
• Clean and service harvest equipment as required.
• Have operational knowledge of all equipment in the area.
• Have equipment ready to run at start of shift.
• Assist other maintenance in repair of ag equipment when necessary.
• Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Farm Shop Manager.
