Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a Bartender.
• Food handler and alcohol certifications (TIPS or equivalent) are preferred.
• A passion for the industry.
• Pride in providing guests with superior customer service and memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and expedite food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.
• Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests.
• Act as cashier for the bar.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar, including operating the ice cream machine.
• Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
• Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Promote and document orders for drinks.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
• Handle credit card transactions using the point of sale to create a check for each guest to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
