Requirements

  • Experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and procedures
  • The ability to work with pastry equipment
  • Understanding of baking times, temperatures and ingredient reactions
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time
  • A flexible schedule and the availability for different days and shifts
  • Food safe certification

Nice To Haves

  • Education in pastry is an asset

Responsibilities

  • preparing dough, fillings, and other components for baked goods
  • following recipes and techniques for consistent results
  • helping to manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
