About The Position
The City of Jefferson is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Parks Maintenance at our Golf Course, for our Parks and Recreation Department. This role involves assisting staff with various maintenance tasks, operating power equipment, and representing the department positively. Outdoor work is a requirement.
Requirements
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to traverse rough terrain and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
- 16 years of age required.

- Athletic field maintenance experience
- Golf course maintenance experience
- Construction experience
- Knowledge of power equipment operation
- 18 years of age
- Missouri Class E or higher driver's license
Responsibilities
- Assist staff with mowing, weeding, mulching, janitorial and/or general building maintenance.
- Operate a variety of power equipment and utility vehicles.
- Represent Parks and Recreation in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
