Requirements

Enjoys working outside and staying active
Reliable, hardworking, and ready to learn
Friendly and willing to work as part of a team
At least 17 years old by start date
High school diploma or GED equivalent by starting date (requirement waived if 17)
Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record (additional requirements if under 18)
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check and driving record review
A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required for this position

Responsibilities

Mow lawns, trim trees, and keep parks looking their best
Help with painting, landscaping, and basic repairs
Clean park facilities and set up for events
Operate small equipment and tools (we'll train you!)
Complete routine maintenance activities, inspections, and special projects in designated park locations
Water downtown hanging flower baskets
