Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker (North Parks)
About The Position
The Anoka County Parks mission is to positively impact the quality of life in Anoka County by providing parks, outdoor recreation, and leisure services for the public. Our mission encompasses the protection of the natural environment, improving the health of citizens, and supporting a strong local economy. The department has an immediate opening for a Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker who will perform various duties. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, on-site position. Interviews will take place as applications are received for those selected to move forward in the hiring process.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must successfully pass criminal history and driver's license background checks.

- Previous Park maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Performing general maintenance and cleaning for County facilities, including litter pickup, power washing, mowing, landscaping, and weeding.
- Mowing and trimming of park grounds.
- Litter and refuse pick up and removal.
- Equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintenance and cleaning of park facilities.
- Miscellaneous tasks related to maintenance and development of park and recreation areas.
- Safe operation of various park maintenance equipment.
- Assist Anoka County staff as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
